About the Annual Research Session

Annual Research Session, Faculty of Commerce and Management – 2021 (ARSFCM – 2021) is organized by Faculty of Commerce and Management, Eastern University, Sri Lanka under the theme of ‘Configuring Opportunities Via Innovative Digatalization’ which is scheduled to be held on 24th September 2021 on Virtual Mode. This scholary forum provides the platform for research students, knowledge seekers and industrialists to exchange and share their knowledge, experiences, new ideas and research results about all aspects of business, management and economics while initiating the opportunities towards innovative digitalization.

Goal of the ARSFCM 2021

The ARSFCM – 2021, especially focuses on undergraduate students to submit their research papers on the topics in the field of management, commerce, and economics with the aim:

  • To open an avenue for students, academics, industry as well as practitioners to share their thoughts and views through valuable research findings.
  • To give a chance to undergraduates to share their interest with faculty, students and other stakeholders.
  • To gain experience presenting their work in a professional conference environment
  • To receive useful and constructive feedback on their research from eminent scholars and industrial experts.

Industrial Dialogue

The Industrial Dialogue will be one of the critical components in ARSFCM – 2021 where actors from industrial sector share and discuss their views and practices in business as well as community development.

Paper Submission

Papers/Articles are invited on the theme and sub-theme of the conference. All selected and registered papers will be published in conference proceeding with ISBN.

Guidelines for paper submission

  • An electronic version of manuscript in MS Word must should be sent to arsfcm@esn.ac.lk & register on http://fcm.esn.ac.lk/arsfcm2021.
  • Manuscript should be of 5000 to 8000 words approximately.
  • All text should be single space with 1 inch margin on all sides. Use 12 point Times New Roman font with APA style Referencing.
  • The final paper should be accompanied by a declaration of the author that the contribution is his/her own work and it has not been published anywhere else.
  • Paper should cover Title of the paper, Author's name and designation, Email, Contact Number, Institute's Name and Address, Abstract, Key words, Introduction, Scope and Objectives, Research Methodology, Data Analysis and Interpretation, Inference and Discussion, and Outcome.
