Workshop on Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Take an idea from lab to market.

The workshop titled "Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Taking an Idea from Lab to Market" was successfully held on July 30, 2025, at the Auditorium of Faculty of Commerce and Management, Eastern University, Sri Lanka. Organized by the University Business Linkage (UBL) Cell of the Faculty of Commerce and Management, the event aimed to foster entrepreneurial skills among participants.

Dr. Sabesan Sithamparanathan OBE, pioneer entrepreneur in IoT served as the resource person. He is the Founder & President of PervasID, distinguished fellow of Cambridge University, Royal Academy of Engineering, and IET; recipient of OBE, Royal Academy Silver Medal, and the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation. His insights not only inspired participants but also equipped them with the knowledge to pursue entrepreneurial endeavors effectively.
